The highly technical fabrics used in sport and leisure products have to be converted with great care to avoid rejects and damages on these valuable products. Slitted edges have also to be reinforced to increase the life expectancy of final products like tents, parachutes or sails. Our slitter rewinders used along with our sealing/slitting technologies (hot cutting and ultrasonic cutting with Decoup+, our sister company) offer the solutions to fulfill these requirements.
| Slitter rewinders - VEGA, ORION Featuring hot cutting and/or combined cutting, the VEGA is our standard machine to convert coated textiles used in tents, parachutes, sails and other sport and leisure products.
Featuring duplex centre surface technology, the ORION is an accurate and versatile slitter rewinder able to perform precise narrow slitting of light coated fabrics. Enabling very low winding tensions, this machine delivers perfectly straight strips along with a perfect slit edge even for light coated fabrics. | | | download documentations and information
| Slitting Bench - PHOENIX Our in-line slitting bench PHOENIX is used for edges trimming and/or central cut. This modular bench has been designed to be mounted at the exit of an existing machine (tenter frame or coating line, for example).
Used with hot cutting heads, this unit perform quality slitting on coated fabrics. The hot slitting operation reinforces the edges and enhances the life expectancy of the final product. | | | download documentations and information
| Slitter and Spooling line Gemini II Designed for narrow and fragile products, the Gemini II uses a numerical traverse winder, driven by a new generation of PLC allowing individual control of each spooling unit.
High flexibility in handheld products and building-up of the bobbin is reached thanks to this electrical and electronic architecture combined with our new traverse winding technology. In fact the Gemini II allows converting a wide range of products on a same machine. Adhesives, foams, films, nonwovens, etc., in various thicknesses and widths, could be spooled in different dimensions (400 x 400 mm maxi) and various winding patterns. | | | download documentations and information
