Centre windingCentre winding :  Rewinding of the rolls happens axially. The positioning of the bars allows duplex staggered rewinding of the material. Rewinding is performed on shafts received in safety bearings installed on both side plates of the machine. Unloading of the bars happens through opening both bearings. Cantilevered bars are also available to optimise unloading process.

 

Centre surface windingCentre surface winding : Used primarily for rewinding large diameter rolls on extended web width applications, as well as to rewind narrow tapes. Rewinding of the rolls happens axially and tangentially. The web is pulled by the primary surface roller. Finished roll density is then developed independently from the web tension. This is done through controlled lay-on nip pressure as well as torque from the primary surface roller.

Spooling or Traverse winding : Allows to rewind 20, 30 even 50 times more products than on a standard pancakes. We propose 2 solutions :

 

  • Spooling sensitive productsFor sensitive products : Bobbins winding happens axially on self-traversing driven bars mounted on a moving frame. Reciprocating movement of the spooling units happens through servomotor with adjustable pitch and stroke. In this system, the strips remain always straight without any twist from the slitter to the traverse winders, it means the spooling units are moving. This principle allows higher quality winding with no strips distortion and with minimized tension. The electronically controlled traverse motion allows adjustment of the stroke motion, the pitch, the end dwell, the diameter required from the operator panel.
  • Spooling for stable productsFor stable products : Bobbins winding happens axially on driven bars mounted on a fixed frame. The flanged bobbins are locked on airshafts with axial air supply for centralised inflating operation. The lay-on arm is mounted on a traversing box allowing back and forth movement. This winding function allows winding a large quantity of strip on the bobbin. The spooling pitch is adjustable mechanically on the traversing box. The bobbin width can be adjusted through two movable mechanical stops.

 

Centre winding on one cantilevered bar :

One cantilevered shaftUsed to rewind big diameter bobbins of thick products. Bobbins winding happens axially. Rewinding is performed on shafts received in safety bearings installed on both side plates of the machine. Unloading of the bars happens through opening both bearings.

 

 Batch winderBatch winder option: This batch winder can be adapted to all our Vega or Orion machines, and allows the winding of wide products without the use of rewinding shaft (directly on cardboard core). Winding of the bobbins happens on a batching system made of two individually driven rollers. An adjustable speed difference between the rollers allow to control the tightness od the rewound bobbins. Guiding parts are positionned by hand on both rollers sides to maintain the roll durind the winding operation. A bowed receiving table in front of the batch winding facilitates the access of the operator for crosscutting the material with hand cutter. The equipment is controlled through the existing machine and the electrical connection is performed through quick connectors.
